Summer Bates

With a love for the performing arts, Summer joined the Janus Players, 4Cs’ theater club, during her first semester. Here she was able to find her passion as a stage manager, serving in the role during the production of “She Kills Monsters”.

“I am still learning what it takes to be a stage manager and majoring in communications, I have applied concepts I’ve learned to the show. Having actors and people on the production team approach me and compliment my work is very encouraging and drives my passion.”
 
After 4Cs, Summer plans to transfer to a college in state to continue her education in the performing arts. She credits her time at 4Cs with helping her grow both personally and professionally.
 
“4Cs has already opened so many doors for me. I have met fantastic professors who have led me in the right direction in terms of achieving my personal and educational goals. I have been offered tutoring positions, leadership positions, club positions, and more.”
